Waitlist
A line of clients ready to take the first slot freed up by a cancellation.
A waitlist lists clients who want an appointment sooner than your calendar shows, and accept being contacted if a slot opens. The mechanism is simple: a cancellation occurs, the system notifies the list by text — or push notification — and the first to reply wins the slot. Those who don't reply stay queued for the next one.
For high-demand trades — salons, clinics, garages — the waitlist is the natural complement of the no-show fight: it turns a last-minute cancellation, a lost fixed cost, into a re-housed opportunity. Its working condition is a fast notification chain: a waitlist reviewed the next morning is a dead list. Modern tools tie it directly to one-click confirmation and the shared calendar.
