Between two patients, your hands can't hold a phone.

On your rounds, you've got gloves, needles, dressings — no free hands. Yet new patients call at the worst moment: hospital discharges, prescribing doctor's orders, overwhelmed families. A patient not called back the same day moves to the next nurse on the list — and a nursing patient means recurring care for weeks.

The problem

Where it leaks

On your rounds, you've got gloves, needles, dressings — no free hands. Yet new patients call at the worst moment: hospital discharges, prescribing doctor's orders, overwhelmed families. A patient not called back the same day moves to the next nurse on the list — and a nursing patient means recurring care for weeks.

The fix

What Signal does

Signal sends a text in <10 s confirming the request and offering a callback or a first visit around your rounds. AI qualifies the type of prescribed care, the town and the urgency, and checks your coverage area. At 7 a.m. the next day, you call back with a file already filled in instead of a voicemail to decode.

Prescription and prescriber noted in the callback recap

FAQ

Home nurses: your questions

A hospital discharge calls at 7 pm. What happens?

The text goes out in <10 s, AI qualifies (type of prescribed care, town, discharge date) and offers a first visit around your rounds. At 7 a.m. the next day, you call back with a well-filled file. Without it, the family calls the next nurse on the doctor's list.

Do prescriptions need to be given to the AI?

AI notes what the caller agrees to give (town, care type, prescriber) and passes it on verbatim in your recap. No health data is requested beyond what the callback strictly needs. Prescriptions still get checked with the patient or the doctor, as usual.

How do you filter requests outside my area?

You set your coverage towns once; AI asks for the town early in the exchange and flags out-of-area requests. You can auto-decline them with a redirection message. No more 20-minute calls to discover it's 40 km away.

My patients are 80. A text, seriously?

Seriously: most seniors can read a text; far fewer check voicemail. The message is short, plain French, and explicitly offers a callback. And half the time it's a relative calling for the patient — they know texts inside out.

What about real emergencies?

AI is trained to recognize serious signals (chest pain, distress, fall with injury) and to direct callers to emergency services while texting you an alert in parallel. It never leaves a vital emergency waiting behind a callback queue. For everything else, it qualifies and you decide.
