PWA

A PWA (progressive web app) is a website built to behave like an application: installable on the phone's home screen in two taps from the browser, running in a window without an address bar, able to receive push notifications and work partially offline. All without App Store review or downloading tens of megabytes.

For a small business and its tools, the PWA is the right compromise: the owner installs their call-tracking dashboard from a link, pins it to the home screen, and receives alerts — new lead, conversation waiting — like app notifications. No store, no updates to manage, no developer account fees: the web serves as the application infrastructure.
